About Ekart

Through Ekart we run Surface B2C — standard road parcels to a customer’s door. It has been moving them since 2009, built as Flipkart’s in-house supply chain arm, so it was designed around e-commerce volume from the start.

The case for keeping it switched on isn’t that it does something the others can’t. It’s that a lane your usual partner won’t take today, or prices badly this week, still has somewhere to go.

What we run through Ekart

The services we offer on this network, and what each one is for.

01

Built around e-commerce volume

Standard D2C parcels by road, on a network shaped by years of marketplace dispatch. No product tiers to weigh up — the only question is whether the rate and serviceability work for that shipment.

02

Somewhere for volume to go

Peak weeks, a pincode your usual partner won’t take, a rate that moves — a second and third surface option keeps a bad day from becoming a stuck order.

03

COD across serviceable pincodes

Cash on delivery behaves as it does everywhere else on Vamaship, with remittance reaching the same reports finance already reads.

04

Weight it up or down freely

Send it more volume or less as rates and performance shift. There’s no integration work in changing your mind, because Vamaship holds the connection.

Redundancy is worth more than it looks

A single surface carrier is fine right up until the day it isn’t — a pincode goes unserviceable, pickups slip during peak, a rate moves the wrong way. Keeping more than one surface partner live costs nothing while it sits unused, and saves the order on the day you need it.

How it works

Why keep Ekart switched on

  1. Step 1

Turn it on before you need it

An inactive partner is no help mid-peak. Activated in advance, Ekart is simply one of the quotes you already see at booking.

  2. Step 2

    Let the rate decide

It’s compared with your other surface partners on every shipment, so it takes the lanes it wins rather than the ones you remember to give it.

  3. Step 3

Lean on it when something breaks

When a pincode goes unserviceable or pickups slow down elsewhere, the fallback is already live — no onboarding while orders wait.

  4. Step 4

    Same reporting as the rest

Tracking, COD remittance and freight charges arrive in the same Vamaship reports, so an extra partner doesn’t mean extra reconciliation.

Ship with Ekart and every other partner in one place.

Compare live rates, book labels, and reconcile COD from one dashboard — no extra carrier logins required.
